Spring-and-Summer-Events-in-Breckenridge-Not-to-Miss Beloved Boutique

When friends ask what we love most about our little mountain town, it's hard to pick just one thing! The stunning views? The friendly faces? The endless outdoor activities? While all of these make Breckenridge special, we have to admit – the incredible lineup of spring and summer events might just top our list.

As a small business right in the heart of Main Street, we love seeing our town come alive with visitors and locals taking in all that Breck has to offer (and the list is long!)

Are you looking to plan a spring or summer Breck getaway? While you could fill up the entire year with great things to see and do, here’s our top list of can't-miss events in Breckenridge!

Spring Events in Breckenridge

Peaks & Beats Spring Bash (April 26-27, 2025)

Spring skiing is nothing new in Breck, but many underestimate just how much more fun you can have when the days get longer and the temps creep up!

There’s a festival coming up in April that you won’t want to miss if you’re planning a later spring break.

The Peaks & Beats event brings together everything we love about spring in the mountains – high alpine skiing, live music, and the always entertaining pond skimming competition.

This two-day celebration is taking place at the base of Peak 8. It features free concerts with artists like Dombresky and Cassian, along with the opportunity to watch brave (or maybe just crazy?) skiers and riders attempt to skim across icy water in their wildest costumes. It’s a unique event that’s worth the trip.

Go Snowshoeing on Salt Lick Tuesdays

If you’re up for adventure, then make sure you hit up the Salt Lick Trail Group Tour on Tuesdays – perfect for solo travelers or small groups! Located in the Red Mountain Open Space, these accessible trails will take you through our iconic lodgepole pine and aspen forests while enjoying the views of Lake Dillon and the Continental Divide. It's family-friendly and the perfect way to see the area in a pretty special way!

Spring Après Parties

Nothing says "spring in Breck" quite like soaking up sunshine at an après party after a day on the slopes.

Every Friday and Saturday through April, the TBar at Peak 8 transforms into the ultimate après spot with live DJ sets from 2-5 PM. It’s as close to a beach party as you can get in the mountains.

Summer Celebrations in the Mountains

Independence Day (July 4, 2025)

The 4th of July is hands-down one of our personal favorites at Beloved Boutique! Our mountain town knows how to celebrate America's birthday with small-town charm and big-time fun.

Start your day right with us at Beloved Boutique – we host free Red, White, and Blue Waffles from 8-10 AM to kick off the Firecracker 50 race and 4th of July parade!

It's become a bit of a local tradition, and we love seeing familiar faces and meeting visitors while everyone fuels up for the day's festivities.

After enjoying your patriotic waffles, grab a spot on Main Street for the parade featuring floats, marching bands, and plenty of the Breck community spirit. The celebration keeps going with live music and family activities across town.

Breckenridge Agave Festival (June 27-29, 2025)

This relatively new festival has quickly become a summer highlight with tastings of over 100 tequilas and mezcals, delicious tacos, and lively music that brings a taste of Mexico to the mountains.

The Main Street Station Plaza transforms into a celebration of agave spirits and Mexican culture that's perfect for both connoisseurs and curious newcomers.

Breckenridge Food & Wine Festival (July 25-27, 2025)

Here’s another of our summer favorites: the Breck Food & Wine festival

With over 300 wines available to sample, paired with gourmet food from local chefs, this event turns Main Street Station and The Village into a full vineyard experience. We definitely encourage you to make reservations early, because this popular festival tends to sell out.

Breckenridge International Festival of Arts (BIFA) (August 8-17, 2025)

Don't miss BIFA! It’s a 10-day celebration of the best in music, dance, film, and visual arts, with a special emphasis on installations and performances that connect art with our region and cultural heritage.

You might find yourself wandering through a forest filled with sound installations, watching dancers perform suspended from trees, or discovering unexpected art in public spaces throughout town. It's a feast for the senses and showcases Breck's creative community spirit.

Breckenridge Hogfest: Bacon and Bourbon (August 22-24, 2025)

Bourbon and bacon – need we say more? This fun festival brings together our favorite area distilleries and chefs for a weekend of tastings and pairings.

We’re talking bacon-infused cocktails, gourmet pork dishes, and even bourbon education sessions that will teach you a thing or two about Breck’s meatier side. Plus, you can enjoy live music and games while indulging in all things bacon and bourbon.

Supporting Our Local Community

One of the things we love most about Breckenridge's festival season is how it brings our community together. As a small, woman-owned business on Main Street, we see firsthand how these events help support local shops, restaurants, and service providers.

When you attend a Breck festival, you're not just having an amazing time – you're contributing to the vibrant local economy that makes our mountain town special.
