Beloved Boutique: A Journey Rooted in Passion and Purpose

In 2013, Mindy fulfilled a dream years in the making by founding Beloved Boutique in the heart of Breckenridge, Colorado. Her journey began long before those doors first opened, shaped by a passion for fashion and a commitment to community. After graduating from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Apparel and Textiles, Mindy moved to the mountains of Colorado in 2005, driven by her love of adventure and the outdoors. Her initial dream was to design snowboarding outerwear, and she briefly left Breckenridge for Southern California, working with a snowboarding company before managing a high-end boutique in North Carolina. It was during her time at this boutique that her vision of one day opening her own shop began to take root.

Mindy returned to Breckenridge in 2011, where she found a deep sense of belonging. She met her husband, Nick, and after her previous store closed in 2012, she found herself at a crossroads. With faith and courage, she pursued her dream, securing the keys to what would become Beloved Boutique in May 2013. She envisioned Beloved as an accessible, welcoming boutique where women could find style that reflected their individuality. On June 7, 2013, Beloved opened its doors, and since then, it has become a cherished part of the Breckenridge community.

For Mindy, Beloved is more than a boutique; it’s a place of connection and service. Every display is designed with her hands, every customer interaction is intentional, and every piece of clothing is thoughtfully curated. With a love for people and community, Mindy’s boutique is a place where everyone feels welcome, whether they're a local or just passing through. Her style is approachable and timeless, offering everyday fashion for women of all ages.

Over the years, Mindy has navigated the challenges of running a small business while building a family and even facing breast cancer. Through it all, her faith has been her foundation, and she believes Beloved is “God’s business before it is ever mine.” Today, Beloved Boutique is a testament to her resilience and commitment, filled with love, support, and gratitude for every customer who has walked through the doors.
